A little bit of this and a little bit of that..

Writer: H. Michael CantleyH. Michael Cantley

I can't wait until Sunday. We have an amazing worship service planned. We have scholarships to give out, we have communion to receive, we have awesome music. The songs we will sing together will be “Are You Washed in the Blood”, “Nothing but the Blood”, “Amazing Grace (My Chains are Gone)” and “Victory in Jesus”.

This Sunday after worship the Re-Entry Committee will be meeting quickly after the service. We are trying to make decisions on when we will open up the church for larger groups and when we will open up for worship in the building. This will be the beginning of the process and some of the members of the Committee might be coming to you to get your input as we figure out how to do this safely. Some churches have already decided not to have inside worship services until next year or until there is a vaccine. We are blessed by the Promised Land and our ability to worship outside but many churches continue to only have online worship and plan on not having worship together in person

until sometime in 2021!! We all want to get back into the sanctuary but we also want to protect our church family and also don't want to have to turn people away at the door due to capacity restrictions. Please keep this team in prayer as we discern how best to move forward.

My weekly call-in meeting with prayer that is normally Thursdays at 3:00pm is cancelled for this week. Yet, anyone can call or email me at any time if they would like to talk or pray.

We will have the bulletin posted and part of a blog later in the week. If you have not done so yet please, please, please go to our website and sign-up to be part of our site. That way you will be notified immediately of blog updates, you will have access to a digital and updated version of our directory, and sometimes there will be posts that only members can see.

At Tom's Creek we truly believe in journeying together in life.  That means there are times in our lives where we need help, support, prayer, and guidance.  While we try to cultivate an environment where we journey and pray with and for each other, we know there are times where we don't want everyone to know what is going on in our lives but still want help.
