Juice Box and that's how we roll!

Writer: H. Michael CantleyH. Michael Cantley

Peace and Love to you all,

We had another glorious worship service at the Promised Land on Sunday. It was our second time having communion in this new reality. I never thought I would be doing Sunday morning communion with a juice box and a bag with bread!! Yet, we did it that way to keep everyone safe. Many had communion delivered to them after the services which means over 160 people received communion!!

This Sunday our 9am service we will be continuing our summer of Revival and we will be singing "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross", "10,000 Reasons", "Oceans", and "Old Rugged Cross". This is a mix of old and new and we will be blessed with Olivia Imirie leading us once again!! Ih you like to look up the music for the notes you can use the internet and for hymns you can use hymnary.org and you can go the United Methodist version and it will show what is in our hymnal.

A reminder that the Thursday afternoon bible study I lead has changed. It is now just a time of checking in with one another and prayer that will last about 30 minutes. Everyone is invited and everyone can share and we do it old school with a phone!! Call in and be part of this time of sharing and prayer at 3pm tomorrow. The number if you have never used it before is: 857-799-9465. It is through freeconferencecall.com so if you have logged in using the computer in the past you still can but only a regular old phone is needed and it is open to ALL!

We will post the bulletin no later than Saturday if you want to look at it or print it off. We will have paper bulletins available but I know some of you want to see it as soon as possible(:

May God's peace embrace you,

PH

At Tom's Creek we truly believe in journeying together in life.  That means there are times in our lives where we need help, support, prayer, and guidance.  While we try to cultivate an environment where we journey and pray with and for each other, we know there are times where we don't want everyone to know what is going on in our lives but still want help.
