Where is the bread?

So.. I know people got used to me making fresh bread and it being delivered. And as quickly as it began it stopped....well, after 500 loaves were made and given out. Not to worry the bread will be back. For the summer season I decided it was a little too warm for hot bread and went back to canning jam and jellies and this year added making homemade spaghetti sauce made with fresh tomatoes. So when the colder winter sets in maybe you will get a jar of jam with the fresh bread or maybe a jar of homemade sauce(;

You see seasons change and we need to adjust to the season that is before us. We are in the process of figuring out how to do worship when the Promised Land is too cold and snow covered. We are in the process of figuring a new fundraiser that doesn't require 20 people packed in a small room padding oysters all day or hundreds of people packed in our sanctuary!! We are in the process of figuring out how we might have a special service outside at the Promised Land on Christmas Eve that will be offered to the communities around us!!

The seasons are changing and with Fall we have a Bible Study starting up. Starting tomorrow, Sept 10th, there will be an 8 week bible study in Fellowship Hall from 9:30-11am. If you want to be a part of it let call or email Carol Hipp. You can even call into the Bible Study at 857-799-9465 so you can be a part of it from the safety of your home. All safety precautions will be taken ie. social distancing, masks on at all times, hand sanitizer as you come in, and names recorded of who is present.

Even as seasons change we need to continue to grow in our love and knowledge of God, and we are called to be in relationship with God and one another. Your church will continue to find safe ways to keep us connected even as the seasons change!!

Peace,

PH
